Develop the skills and confidence to present cell site analysis, RF (Cellular and Wi-Fi), or digital evidence effectively in a criminal court setting through a blend of theoretical understanding and practical courtroom exercises.
This course is designed for those new to giving evidence and seasoned expert witnesses alike, with a focus on presenting cell site analysis for geolocation, radio frequency (RF) survey data or other digital evidence in court. It offers a supportive environment to refine skills, overcome nerves, and build confidence for real-world scenarios.
Key topics include understanding the roles and responsibilities of an expert witness, relevant legal frameworks, and preparing court-compliant reports and declarations. Participants will learn strategies to mitigate cognitive biases and tackle challenges in the courtroom effectively.
A mock courtroom setting provides a safe space to practice, receive feedback, and enhance delivery. The course aligns with the FSR Code of Practice and supports ISO 17025 compliance, emphasising competency and impartiality in forensic practices.
